Ammar wants to replace Jimi Alonsohai

Mantis’s young midfielder Ammar Sissoko says he hopes to impress so much this season that he becomes a regular feature in Lords Kechik’s central midfield.

Ammar will be hoping he can fill in for the injured Jimi Alonsohai who is struggling with a hamstring injury and stands in line to make a starting appearance in the Mantiz’s MMU League game against Phlamze today.

He said, “I’m feeling really good and I’m training really hard. I’m looking to impress and we must see what happens.

“We are sad because Jimi has injured but hopefully he will recover quickly to show quality and improve the squad.”
